Rich Sokol

Rich currently runs an investment partnership focused on private investments in real estate and operating companies. He started his career on Wall Street with Credit Suisse First Boston. He later worked at Massachusetts Financial Services, the large Boston-based mutual fund company, where he worked as an analyst following a variety of industries and later helped run two of the larger mutual funds. He also has operating experience, having been CFO of two operating companies, including a successful startup.
Rich currently sits on the Board of one operating company and two start-ups.

Politically, Rich has been active in local Republican politics. In 2004, he worked on Bob Beauprez's congressional campaign. He was a district leader in the 2004 Republican Get Out The Vote effort, where he oversaw over 40 volunteers who knocked on thousands of doors and made over 10,000 phone calls. In 2005, he took an active role in the anti-Referendum C and D debate. He debated the topic in front of various community groups, appeared on radio shows, and wrote a paper on the subject that was quoted by many of the anti-C forces. He also spoke at the 2006 national Club For Growth conference in Miami, Fl regarding Tabor.

Rich served as a surrogate speaker during Bob Beauprez's 2006 gubernatorial campaign. He also served as an advisor to Beauprez on state fiscal matters, having previously served on Beauprez's Israel advisory committee.

Currently, Rich is volunteering for the Schaffer for Senate campaign. He advises Schaffer on Middle Eastern affairs as well as national fiscal policy.

Rich is a past President of the Jewish Republicans of Colorado, and sits on the Advisory Board of the Leadership Program of the Rockies.

He is a graduate, summa cum laude, of Yale University with a degree in economics, and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is married to Rochelle, and has a daughter, Deanna. He is trying to teach 2 year old Deanna to be a good fiscal conservative.
